The 12th century castle’s recent and distinctive renovation combined the preservation of the original structure while integrating modern amenities of luxury and comfort. It revealed the existence of a monumental red brick arch on the first floor, reopened numerous loopholes in the walls, and the daring addition of a glass roof brought light to the heart of the structure thus creating an indoor patio/courtyard around which inviting living spaces and bedrooms are harmoniously arranged.
Surrounded by 120 hectares of a family run vineyards and peach orchards, the castle has a private park with a chapel, a jardin à la française and a swimming pool with a view on the Albères mountains. It is intended to be rented as a whole (10 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms) for weddings, professional seminars, celebrations and gatherings of families and friends.
The wines bearing its name are refined and fruity.
